A Board-Certified Family Nurse Practioner who formerly worked in Cardiac Surgery at VCU, Laura currently works with Legacy Care, an independent group of physicians and advanced practice providers dedicated to providing the highest quality, on-site medical care to residents of post-acute, inpatient rehabilitation, and assisted living communities. She will provide information on medical issues surrounding the aging process.

Florence Brooks is a United Methodist pastor currently serving as the Director of Pastoral Service at Cedarfield.  She will be addressing important topics of conversation that every parent needs to have with their grown children and conversations every grown child should have with their aging parent.
